Gone fishing.

It's official.

I am taking an internet hiatus.

I have tons of stuff to catch up on, three websites to set up, house renovations, two budding part time work endeavours, and a seriously busy full time job. I need to get crackalackin' on some things in my own life, and I just get too distracted around this here webby thing.

I will try to pop in once in a while, and maybe post a picture or two. We'll have to see. (I'm sure I'll still be uploading pictures to Flickr, though.)

I will be back. I just need to divert my attention elsewhere for a bit.

Trifle (my dog-hating dog) made a new friend over the weekend. The inimitable Mr. Morley came over and charmed the pants off her (and me!). She was a little nervous at first, growling a bit and showing some teeth, but by the end of the visit she wasn't too concerned about him at all. And she had no reason to be; Morley was the most incredible little gentleman I've ever met.

Swan Release

We went to the Annual Swan Release in Stratford on Sunday, it was really pretty interesting. There were twenty or so swans (and some other waterfowl) that were released from their winter quarters and marched down to the Avon River.

As this swan was running, you could hear his feet go 'fwap fwap fwap' on the surface of the water. I wished I would have had my other digital camera handy to take a video.

So tired today. After an incredibly busy day yesterday, we went out around midnight last night to the outskirts of town for a fire. An abandoned barn went up, and was quite the site to watch. I stayed long enough to watch it finally collapse, and then headed back home, where *I* collapsed. Up early today, busy all day again, and I'm just about to start working tonight. Have a little bit to get caught up on before going in tomorrow.

Anyone do anything interesting this weekend??
