We went to the Annual Swan Release in Stratford on Sunday, it was really pretty interesting. There were twenty or so swans (and some other waterfowl) that were released from their winter quarters and marched down to the Avon River.
As this swan was running, you could hear his feet go 'fwap fwap fwap' on the surface of the water. I wished I would have had my other digital camera handy to take a video.

i always loved swans,
until i spent 3 weeks on boat on the norfalk broads (in merrie old...)
the swans were quite aggressive
